One of Morgan Hunts prestigious Charities has an opportunity for an experienced specialist Alcohol Worker required to work on the Drugs team in North Manchester

The role will involve:

- Supporting vulnerable people with Mental Health and / or Substance Abuse Issues in a specialist setting
- Working as part of a multi disciplinary team, the Drug & Alcohol Support Worker will, under the supervision of the Drug and Alcohol Therapist
- Develop and provide group and 1:1 interventions for patients who have drug and alcohol problems and who often have a history of difficulties in effectively engaging with drug and alcohol services in the past -
Interested candidates must provide an appropriate level of information and an advisory role to the wider MDT and relevant outside agencies. Other duties will include making risk assessments, evaluating and reviewing care programmes and providing ongoing support for patients while they deal with their substance misuse issues
